EQUITY AND CIVIL RIGHTS
The strength of the CWA is in an informed, active, and diverse membership. Our Mission is to determine to what extent, if any, discrimination practices exist in the workplace or Union. We must study contract provisions to see if any clauses have a discriminatory impact or decide if other revisions or improvements are needed to reflect or represent the diversity of the workplace measuring racial, gender or other democratic make up. The ECR addresses ways to encourage greater sensitivity, awareness, participation, and leadership development for all members.
